If the bald area is very wide and more than 5000 grafts are needed, the operation is done in 2 sessions.
In 2-sessions operations, hair transplantation is performed firstly to the front area. There must be 6-8 months between the two sessions. In this process, the transplanted area completes its progress, and the donor area heals. The second operation is performed after analysis of the remaining bald area and donor area.
If the back of head area is not enough for the donor, grafts are extracted from the beard for the second session (from the hair under the chin).
